Herbie Oosthuizen & Associates (Attorneys at law) began a legal practice in Mossel Bay on 04 January 2004. The primary considerations for the establishment of the practice was to be:

A Law firm that creates a substantial legal practice which could provide legal services in most fields of law with the requires expertise, acumen and specialization;
A Law firm to be of service to the substantial population and to allow them access to most fields of law without having to travel to major centers;
A Law firm that halts the corrosion of corporate legal work from country practitioners to city practitioners by banks and other corporate clients who to readily seem to feel that whilst country practitioners were able to serve them day to day more mundane needs, they had to resort to city practitioners for their more substantial and corporate work;
A Law firm that provides clients from the most unsophisticated with a single small matter, to the largest corporate one, with an all embracing service for their legal requirements;
A Law firm that creates job opportunities

We conduct substantial offices in Mossel Bay, Port Elizabeth and in Cape Town under supervision of Attorneys.

At present we ably serve the Magisterial Districts of Cape Town Mossel Bay George and Port Elizabeth, either personally or through the services of correspondents selected and approved by us, who work under our supervision and be accountable to us.the firm has excellent, integrated information technology. Geographical borders therefore disappear when one considers that we are able to;

communicate and exchange data between various branches at the push of a button
receive electronic instructions from all major banking institutions;
conduct Deeds Office searches and obtain copies for the Title Deed electronically;
conduct ITC searches to enquire as to a persons financial status and whereabouts.

The upgrading and development of our information technology continues on a regular basis.
